Pittsburgh POSTPONED

Flyleaf's show tonight has been POSTPONED due to illness. Lacey met with her Voice Center physicians today at the University of Pittsburgh, and they advised that she would not be able to sing tonight due to pronounced swelling in her vocal chords. With more rest, this will not affect the remaining dates of the tour. The band apologizes to everyone in the Pittsburgh area for this extremely unfortunate timing, but the band promises to make the show up in the near future once Lacey's chords heal.

All previously purchased tickets will be honored at the make-up show, the date of which will be announced in the coming weeks. Again, the band is very sorry for the last minute circumstances, and please keep Lacey in your thoughts and prayers.

We're all hoping you get well soon Lacey

I know I speak for every Flyleaf fan by saying that we
wish all the best for the members of Flyleaf.
Not all of us believe in God, so I don't want to
offend anyone by saying that we're all praying
for Lacey. But, I will say that we all hope that Lacey
gets well soon. I have been praying for Lacey and
wish her the best always. I have Flyleaf to thank
for saving my life as I thought there was no way out
of life except for suicide. I thank God everyday because
He connected me with Flyleaf and I now have a reason
to live. I have a much greater appreciation of life
now that I have listened to and studied Flyleaf's music
and passionate lyrics. I know the official statement
says that "this will not affect the remaining dates of the tour",
but I wouldn't risk further damage to Lacey's vocal chords.
I hope everyone has given it plenty of thought, maybe
Lacey shouldn't sing today (2008-05-17) in New Jersey or
Ohio on Sunday. Obviously, Lacey's health should come first
before shows. Thanks for saving my life, Flyleaf.
